A life was lost here, things didn't "HAVE" to turn out the way they did in this case. From what I've read and heard on tape, this situation didn't have to be as serious as it was. I believe Mr. George Zimmerman used poor judgment the night he killed Trayvon Martin.
From the sounds of the 911 call, Mr. Zimmerman was not in danger. He provoked the violence by stalking down Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman calmly talked to the 911 operator, he said Martin looked suspicious but he never said he saw Trayvon do anything illegal. He said Trayvon walked towards him but moment later started running away. Mr. Zimmerman followed the victim, for what? He's not a cop. It's not his duty and he was advised not to engage in anything like that by the 911 operator. He went against police orders and took the law into his own hands...how can you justify that when someone is running away from you? You can't.
I could ramble on and on about this. There's a lot wrong here. I just hope justice prevails. A bag of skittles/Tea vs Gun....
If Trayvon was running away...he was not the aggressor...he was being pursued. SMH.
